All traps are slow, they have to be set before they can be activated which gives the opponent a chance to destoy/negate them and a lot of people run Jinzo as well. My DM deck usually has the Sorceror of Dark Magic out in the first 3 turns and then all traps are useless so if you have say 10 traps in your deck thats 10 dead cards until you can get rid him. Running a lot of traps is just suicidal, i made a Harpies deck for my friend a while ago and its mega fast, the harpies hunting ground effect destroys set traps as soon as the harpies are summoned and then theres 3 or 4 monsters with 2000-3000 attack hitting you, if your drawing useless trap cards and have nothing to defend your lifepoints then the duel will be over very fast.

Good deck! I hope u don't mind me giving a small hint of advice. Try 2 get 2 Magician of Faith. Then, u can totally confuse your opponet, especially if u have one in the graveyard already. That's what i do and it totally throws my opponet off balance! Then I put down some kick butt monsters and they fall 2 pieces!!!!!

Traps are still useful. Just need to pick the right ones and come up with an anti-Jinzo tactic. (BTW I've read you cannot trap hole a Jinzo.)
