The entire story was a flop. I saw no correlation between the fillers and the story. Seriously! I've read fanfictions better than the fillers.

I never fully understood kariya's motives, all I got was "his people were killed so he decides to blow up the Soul Society" How does that justify what happened? How does that fix the problem that the only female among his kind is probably a man? What does that accomplish other than causing massive explosions? WTF? Is this guy on crack? Damn! Kariya's trippin some serious balls! (Welcome to BHJ's filler rant, make yourself comfortable kuz I'll probably start to sound like Lewis Black or George Carlin eventually, don't worry I'll try to keep my ranting as PG as possible)

i'm not sure what his motives were, i mean in the final fight renji and rukia mention something like karia came to soul society to be killed, that he hated his own race and wanted all things to die....but i dont understand why he did everything he did nor am i sure that was his true motive...the whole arc was just a sham made to waste time

So Kariya went to the Soul Society to die? Amazing, simply amazing. He goes out of his way to travel to the Soul Society just to die. If he really wanted to die he should have gone to the Hueco Mundo and pissed off some espada or something, that'll get him killed without fail. Or better yet, why doesn't he just shoot himself like a normal person? But yeah, the entire filler was a waste of time and money.

not just him, he wanted all the bounto to die and he wanted to take soul society and the human world with him, atleast thats what i gathered. but he should have died when he first fought byakuya and ichigo at the same time. and i agreee the whole arc was a waste of time
