WW2 Axis Powers?

why is it that they won't make a WW2 game that lets you play as the Axis powers? If there are any I haven't seen them....

I mean the Axis won plenty of battles to make a game out of. I mean just because they lost the war doesn't mean it wouldn't make a good game. And Besides war games are getting stale as it is, they need something new.

It definitely would make a good game. It would also be interesting if you could play out all countries involved in WW2 not just allies or axis. Even possibly have different endings that could've possibly happened. It would give everyone a greater understanding into each countries history in that war as well.

Consider it this way; you can already play as any side on multiplayer, which is the best part of most games.

Most WW2 games are edited in Germany as to NOT include nazis. Yet call the nazis some stereotypical evil name.

Also that there is no true "good or bad" side.

Multiplayer doesn't give you the history or story of a countries background, it's just a fun thing to vs others with.

yes it's about wha t would happen if hitler was assassinated before WWII or something like that...i also remembersomething with Einstein 0.o. then there is battlefield Vietnam...

i was having this very exact discussion with my friends at lunch 0.o. Battlefield 1942 had either axis or allies powers wiinning but the campaign had no story...

i'd like to play operation market garden as the axis or follow the campaign of the dessert fox

though i like the british SAS expansion more than the two origianl sides

outside the RTS realm though, there are very few games which actually have an axis campaign...
