Vampire Hunter D's hand

I'm wondering...would Vampire Hunter D's sentient hand be the coolest thing ever to have...or the worst? I mean, the hand can scream profanities at people when you give them the finger...and he can act like a joybuzzer by biting anyone you shake hands with. But on the other hand ( no pun intended) he'd make it a rough business for you to scratch yourself, and I don't think it would be pleasant hearing loud screams of pain every time you clap your hands. And what about having a sandwich eaten before it gets to your mouth? Bah...what do you guys think?

Especially when, CMIIW, he didn't <i>choose</i> to have that sentient left hand. From what I heard in <i>Bloodlust</i>, it's sort of a parasite. Good thing D's a rightie. I certainly wouldn't want a parasite for a sword hand.

Lol Having a parasite would have its ups and downs, 'cept Id say Id rather NOT have one o.o.. cause if you ever wanted to be alone theres always something there being obnoxious (sp? ><) in your HAND x.x. But then if it was in your left hand then it wouldnt be so bad but thats cause Im a righty x.x

That's part of the whimsy of the hand. Even D finds him annoying at times, especially when her starts pestering D about vampire temptations. <i>But</i> he has his uses, as he has a good nose and an appetite for troublesome spells.

The little guy may be extreamly useful for a vampire hunter but he is the last thing I need. What I use my hands for is private!

I think that would just be way to scary to have, I mean you couldn't die so easy, but showing that in public, and having it talk for you all the time, I would have to cut it off myself O.o

Hunter D is so cool ^^ It's one of my fave animes. But anyways, I love his hand, it's the best. But having one myself, I would probably either think I was insane or go insane. ^^ Might be kinda cool, though.
