The 08th MS Team
Gundam 0080: War in the PocketGundam
0083: Stardust Memory
Gundam 0083: Last Blitz of Zeon
Gundam Wing

Only a bit Gundam Seed on TV.

I have all of them in my rental queue with Anime Takeout ..... except G Gundam ... it was so bad I couldn't make it through the first disc. Too silly and Saturday morning for me. I said for me, that is not meant to put down anyone who likes it.
Stand back! This old Otaku has PMS, a broadsword, a double bladed battle ax, a flail, dagger in her teeth and a pistol in her belt.

So you haven't gotten to the meat of the series.
I would suggest watching the basics of the Universal Century Gundam, the best that Gundam has to offer (in this order)
Mobile Suit Gundam Trilogy (Movies)
Zeta Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack (Movie)
And when you're done with those, download the greatest Gundam show ever created: Turn A Gundam (my sig has a url where you can download it)
Or if you don't want to watch all of these, just watch Zeta or Turn A and skip the rest.

Dark Lilly, don't you have some ideas about what qualifies an anime to be called old school?

I would call any anime that people are still talking about years later should be called classics, and the term classic is usually thought of as the same as old school.

Then, I have quite a few 'old school' animes on video. A few are not that widely known. Like Locke the Superpower... And, I think some videos with this guy named Harlock... One of them's called My life in Arcadia or My Youth in Arcadia...

Then, I have an older Cyborg 009 video...

I have no clue what qualifies for an anime to be considered as old school.
