sooo...anyway. as back to the question: as it has been said, Izayio was InuYasha's mothers name...her last name was never disclosed. inuyasha's fathers TITLE was the inu no tashio (which i think is like lead youkai, the Tai-Youkai, as he has also been refered to as well in the series).

in all fanfiction, people tack on Takahashi, tashio and other sorts of interesting last names for Yash and Sesshiles. but is there ever one in the series; no.

i dont know what u just said, but i think its his dad's name.
