They dont get married.Not yet. she almost marries someone else but Kira stops the wedding. and she is not messed up she just had to marry him for political reasons.

I thought Kira and Cagalli were gonna get together. I was so mad when i found out they were brother and sister. It was like Star Wars where we find out Luke and Leia are brother and sister and that totally ruins any hopes we had of them getting together. So unless Seed is remade, Kira/Cagalli will be in fanfiction.
