I'm not positive about the anime, but in the manga, when he decides to stay with Kaoru, he doesnt know, but he says 28.

FYI he's 28 in the anime as well he just doesn't say it until the second season!

Yeah, he is 28. At the end of the anime, he is 29.

However, when talking with Sano, who is 21, around episode 13-14, he states "I was your age..." when talking about the Tokugawa Revolution, and then he disappeared for 10 years. So, that puts him at...30-33? The last Kenshin movie is played out when Kenji is 19-22, and it's implied Kenshin's in his mid-fifties. However, it happens WAY after the series is over, Kenshin's been in China for over a decade at that point.

Meh? When was Sano 21? He's 19 He says in the manga that he's 19. Unless you are referring to Reflections then I don't know. Yes, though, a whole year went by in the series and Kenshin started at age 28.

when he served Katsura, he is only 15 yrs. old...
and he met kaoru 10 years after the incident so i guess he's 25...
