yes he's dead! It was Naraku's plan anyways to use Kohaku and Sango as his pawns but Sango wasn't dead and learned the truth that Inuyasha wasn't the killer it was Naraku. So after that Kohaku was possess and became Naraku's so say pawn he wants 2 kill.

Hik:GAH!!! NO CHAOS WATCH THE MOVIE AGAIN!! He temporarly removed all his things to make the believe he was dead. HE SAYES IT WHEN HE COMES BACK FROM HIM FAKING HIS DEATH!!!
