Wow, another thread bashing the moderators, and again there are no links to any specifc examples. If you feel a moderator is acting inappropriately, then of course I want to know about it, but just putting down moderators without providing any evidence is helpful to nobody.

I agree, and of cource if any of you do not like me I propose this: Make a thread with a 2 poll options, Maybe "Demod Cold" Or "Cold is doing a great job"

I think this thread is just a haters ball... You all forget that we do not get paid for being a moderator here on AA. I myself want to help people but I think there 2 scared to pm me and tell me there problems, but instead they feel the need to make such a thread and complain. If we dont see something it doesnt mean we do not care....

I have said this over and over again If you feel that something is WRONG (I.E WRONG, NOT COOL, EITHER/OR HE/SHE Insulted you report it!) Thats all there is to it, not that hard is it? I myself will personaly handle your problem if you pm me. Thats all there is... Nothing more...

Good idea. Problem is, only a minority of the mods flame peoople, and the rest do absolutely nothing.

Other users can speak for themselves on the flammings >.< Otherwise I haven't been flammed, I've just seen them going on. But the problem I have is topics going off their gord. Like especially in the inuyasha threads also with sometimes flames going off. Or we really need mods to check into the FMA thread because we bearly see any doing anything at all in there.

Else mods like me would never ever see those flamming posts because I don't read the Inuyasha forum or the FMA thread. If you or anyone else would report an inapropriate post in there I would for damn sure take a look, check the post and act if necessary.

the reason WHY we cant quote them is because they move the threads to questionable, which regular users cant see, so, we're snokered there, but, if you monitor your moderators with close scrutiny, you'll see the flame, the spam, the insults!

You know that the questionable threads forum is there to show inapropriate threads to yous truly so he can decide on what to do ? This means that he would see the modflaming, -spamming and -insluting for sure... -.-

I do agree with Envy to an extent; and in fact I discussed the matter with webmaster in private last week. HOWEVER, I don't agree with the whole mod-bashing thing.
You say a lot of things go un-noticed. WE CAN'T VIEW EVERY SINGLE POST ON THIS FORUM. There are thousands of users who spam spam spam away and we only have so many moderators.
And Envy, rikoku, darkbear, neither of you have EVER used the report function. If you don't want to use that you can always PM a mod. ALL of us will respond to you in a friendly way and help if you PM us with any problems you have.

same over here. Locke is probably THE worst offender. he's sarcastic, cockey, flamer, insulting, and he's STILL a mod so, i think all to most of the mods should be let go, and should re-try for mod position. the new system. fair trials then all around.

It is true that regular members cannot view threads that have been moved to the Questionable Threads area, and therefor cannot practically provide a link to the thread. However, this in no way prevents you from reporting it. I have had members contact me asking if I would look into a specific thread that was moved to the Questionable Threads area, and instead of a link they provided either an approximate date, a subject title, a username, or some such other information that would allow me to locate the thread.

And contrary to what some seem to think, I do not go through and read every post in the Questionable Threads area. I would like to, as I would like to read every post on the forum, but I just don't have the time. So if there is one you want me to look at, then you need to let me know.
