BOT, another way its hard to prove is that mods can alter their posts and not have the "Edited by" line. so, they can change it, and no ones the wiser

I was confused about this at first too, so I went to the phpBB website to look up why sometimes an edited-by line appears and sometimes it does not. What I found was that if a post has no replies, then editing it does not make the edited-by line show up, but if the post does have replies then the edited-by line will show up. Apparently it has nothing to do with being a moderator. And yes, I have recently added a modification that will display a notice if a post is edited, though I'm not sure if the general members can see it. It might be only visible by mods and administrators, and possibly the author of the post. But at any rate, I can now know when a post has been modified.

There are a lot of mods on the forum who arent doing their jobs very well at all. Flammings sometimes going unnoticed. Unfairness from the mods to the users. Mods that arent doing anything but just taking up space for others to take that opportunity to actually do a mods work. Im not saying every mod we have on the forum is doing a bad job, just some. I understand when a mod locks a topic but to comment a rude post about a user on it just takes it to damn far. Im sure others feel the same way I do right now at this moment also. I mean come on we have a lot of mods and they aren't doing their jobs as we speak. Aren't the mods supposed to be respectful towards us? Users who post up their opinions on this forums and mods responding rudely. I dont know but I think we should empeach because I have had it.

At the bottom of the AA forum page there is this.

Mods are doing there job, yet some people just link to think there not, check the mod actions page from time to time if you worry about that kinda thing...

But it isn't only visible actions which you see there that represent the work we do. A lot goes on behind the scenes guys. We spend a lot of time discussing certain issues and coming up with solutions to problems in the Moderator Discussion area.

Wow, another thread bashing the moderators, and again there are no links to any specifc examples. If you feel a moderator is acting inappropriately, then of course I want to know about it, but just putting down moderators without providing any evidence is helpful to nobody.

I agree, and of cource if any of you do not like me I propose this: Make a thread with a 2 poll options, Maybe "Demod Cold" Or "Cold is doing a great job"

I think this thread is just a haters ball... You all forget that we do not get paid for being a moderator here on AA. I myself want to help people but I think there 2 scared to pm me and tell me there problems, but instead they feel the need to make such a thread and complain. If we dont see something it doesnt mean we do not care....

I have said this over and over again If you feel that something is WRONG (I.E WRONG, NOT COOL, EITHER/OR HE/SHE Insulted you report it!) Thats all there is to it, not that hard is it? I myself will personaly handle your problem if you pm me. Thats all there is... Nothing more...

But now this is coming up gravy for now with me seeing that the mods are getting on the ball more. =/ Plus hun no one was talking about you specifically. How about this - Use the report function from NOW ON whenever you think it is necessary. Obviously if there are so many "inappropriate posts" that alarm you a lot of them will be from the same user, so don't report every post of that user. We can then stop that user from doing posts like the one they did that got reported and weed out the problem (through education of offenders...possibly punishment etc etc).

I mean maybe the reason they don't catch some of it is because it's not na anime they watch all the time, so on a normal basis they don't go there. Also as alot had said, "USE THAT DANG REPORT BOTTON FOR MOOGLES SAKES!!!" It's not just there too look at... even though it is pretty... it does have a wonderful purpose too...

Aslo, Mods can't do everythin', they have lives too... dur... As Vash said, we are all human and make mistakes and go out of line every now and then. About the whole "This Mod is bein' ebil... blah blah..." I've seen the so-called, "Flammin"... and I'mma sorry... but you bring on your selves somedays... Some of you guys just keep on fightin' and don't give up. You stubborn lil mules deserve what yah got, cause not always are you right... ug...

Also, ayha we do have some mods taht never come on as much... but they did do some good stuffs for us. Maybe they can't get on, maybe tehre is time constraints? I unno, still don't sink their battleship yet, they may come back and be like, "Supah Mod" and like, "BAM" all this stuff get's done.

Nope if anyone has an issue with my fellow mods they also have one with me, I have nothing against you of cource :)but we work as a unit..team. If a user does not like a mod they should talk with them or talk it over with the webamaster and gather proof.
