I guess you can always watch the Japanese version and get it from there.

I think that's it. It sounds similar to what I've heard.

I'm not too good at writing out what I hear.

Especially when it's another language.

But out of my obsessiveness, I will write out the entirety of the Equivilent Exchange Monologue (a.k.a. First Opening Monologue, a.k.a. Al's Monologue) from the English Dub.

"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth."

I would have done it by memory, but I lost track. So I took from Wikipedia.

I still haven't perfected the "Philosopher's Stone" Monolongue (a.k.a. Second Opening Monologue, a.k.a. Ed's Monologue), so I won't give that one.

I can't write out the stuff I read either, but I can pronounce it more or less well. I think I remember what Ed's little speech is.
"The Philosopher's Stone. Those who posses it are no longer bound by the laws of equivalent exchange in alchemy. May gain without scarfiice, create without equal exchange. We searched for it . . . and we found it."

Close enough, thanks! :D

Useless trivia:

Equivilent Exchange deals heavily with the Law of Conservation, in Physics. It states that matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed.

Only rearranged. ^_^
