That "de" is a sentence particle

Did you take it from a sentence? If you did, maybe try putting it in with your next post or edit it. Right now what you're asking is hard for people to work with

Oh, I thought it had a specific meaning. I actually got it from a Japanese show and I can't really get any of the sentences. Sorry.

That "de" is a sentence particle

Even if it was a sentence particle, I would think it would be "ga arimasu" instead of "de".

But then again, I haven't come across a sentence or learned about the "de" particle having an "arimasu/arimasen" after it.

to Kamaking-san: it could have a meaning though. I'm just not the one to tell you what exactly it translates to.

De Arimasu (also de aru) is a rather old and pretty polite way of saying "desu" wich means "is, am, are" ect

So you could say

(This is a book)

kore ha hon desu
これは本です

or

kore ha hon de arimasu
これは本であります　

People this day and age don't really say "de arimasu" often though
