Wow, this was a suprisingly good anime. I enjoyed every minute of it. The anime has great humor to it and unpredictable romances (though fustrating at times). i really recommend watching it, especially if you are into high school romance comedies.

It's about middle school student, Junpei Manaka, and he encounters a beautiful girl on the rooftop of the school, and from then on out he becomes infactuated with who that girl was. The next day he finds that she's a student in his class and she turns out not to be the princess that he saw on the roof, but a geeky bookworm instead....Junpei still infactuated with that girl (Aya Toujou) gets to know her better and shows a side of him that really moves her. She's hopeless in love from then on out. But the huge problem is that Junpei confesses his love to the most popular girl in his school (as a joke), but she accepted the proposal and things go crazy from then on. (Another love interest pops up with Junpei enters high school)

The first few episodes have the characters and their last year of Middle school...then it progresses to their first year of high school and the last few episodes deal with their second year of high school.

Sadly, the ending of the show was never animated.....Anime production caught up with the Manga production and the show had to stop production to wait on the manga to produce it's ending.

there's 13 episodes and 5 OVAs (25 minutes each). The OVAs dont really conclude the show, the first 2 conclude episode 12 and the rest didnt really move the show any further. if you watch this wonderful anime and want to really know how it ends then look up the show article on wikipedia...or PM me and i'll tell you

no, nothing really hentai about it...more high school romance comedy (clean) than anything. but it's good and the manga is great too.

I SO LOVE THIS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so not hentai. it's really really funny and I love the girls. they rock.
