A Trigun question.
Does anyone think Meryle is related to Rem? In the second to last episode, where Meryle saves Vash from those truckers, the picture of Rem coveres her and you can see the resemblance... well what do you think?
Yes, I'm back. For real this time. I swear it to the high heavens.

They do look alike.
Maybe she cloned herself so someone can help Vash in the future.

Heres how. Rem makes a clone of herself beofore the ship explodes and sents it to that planet in an escape pod. Meryle (Rems clone) awakens later in the pod, so Caine the longshit kills her, so she clones herself again and joins that Lilliy chick and meets vash.

No, I was thinking Meryl (The one with the short hair and tiny guns, who loves Vash) is actually a descendant of Rem. They were only able to find one relative of Rem, Count Revenant Vasquez, but Knives killed him. But that might not have been the only relative. That's what I was thinking.

re: A Trigun question.
I don't think they're really related, the director is just trying to make a comparison.

Maybe, but personally, them being related is how I like to think it went. ^_^

Agrees with Trigun otaku and oW0. But then if Meryl was a descendant of Rem then that would mean that either Rem had a sister or a brother who was married and then the circle of life continues from there. But that messes up the way I like the series, so I DO NOT think that Meryl is related to Rem in any way.

neither do i, many people look like other people, but they are not necessarily related
