Plot?

I've seen about ten episodes of Trigun, but I still don't understand the plot. Can someone explain it to me?

i really dont know,but i think has to do with Vash making friends and trying to teach people killing i wrong and on one has the right to take someones life, by not killing and helpping those in need while also having to confront his brother Knive that totally opposes him,

but 10 episodes would do it because as the story goes on you'll be able to understand more
