Black Lagoon

Ok I just happend to stumble on to this series one day and loved every minute of it. I haven't seen that much gun fighting action since Cowboy Bebop. Hell if I had to compare it to anything it would have to be Cowboy Bebop. Well enought of my ranting Black Lagoon is a story about a gang of mercenaries who sail the seas in ship called (you guessed it) the Black Lagoon. This gang is only five men deep (even if I don't know to much about them) heres the run down on them that I know anway. (in order of coolness of coures)

Levi: The only female member of this gang and in my opinion the greatest bad ass chick to hit the action anime genre in a long time. She the rought and tumble, shoot first, and ask questions later type and it shows...alot. Her looks are just as drop died as her skills and her favorite weapons are her dual pistols. If you wanted to compare her to anyone I'd say she has Fays looks and Spikes personality. (kinda how I'd think they're kid would act.)

Dutch: A very very BIG guy but he's also very cool, calm, and wise for his age. (kinda like Jet was) I think he's most likely the leader of this group since he seems to be the only one who can clam Levi down when shes pissed.

Bennny: The computer and techno expert of the group. He was a college student/computer hacker living in Florida until he pissed off the wrong people (mainly the mafia and FBI.) but before he was sleeping with the fishes he was saved by Levi and joined up with her on the Black Lagoon. Been a there ever since then.(Well not much else to say about him.)He seems to be more of a thinker then a fighter which you can tell by the way he looks.

Rokuro Okajima a.k.a Rock: A japanese business man who is taken hastage by Levi and the rest of the crew after haven stolen a computer disk from him with some improtant company secrets on it. Thinking she can get more money for holding him for ransom as well Levi drags him along. This plan doesn't work out to well after the company he works for dosen't want him back alive (He found out to much poor guy.):roll: so the company oreders a hit on him and the rest of the Black Lagoon gang and he is forced to join up with them. (he gets the nickname rock from Dutch after a small enconter with him)

Well thats basicly it from what I know so far (only say one episode.):heh: but still this is an excelent series best action anime I've seen in along time. Don't belive me? check out for yourselves.
