Memoirs of a Geisha

I finally got around to reading it... it's been on my shelf for almost two years.

An excellent book... especially if the history of Japan interests you.

I thought the film was ok. It just doesn't compare to the book though...

most films don't compare to their books, it's true.

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer.

The best book I've ever read, beside Vampire Kisses and Vampire Kisses 2.

The Thousand Orc's by R.A. Salvatore

Another great series by him... If you're a fantasy fan and have never read anything by him, then shame on you.... His Demon Wars saga is good as well...

Darth Bane: Path of Destruction

Awesome book I didn't set it down until I finished it. The best part? It ties the events of the first Knights of the Old Republic game into the official Star Wars timeline!

There is no 4th book in the Tales of Otori serie, it is a trilogy. But they are truly awesome though, those were the first books I reccommended when I created this thread ^^

However, there is two books in work to finish the life of Otori Takeo but they arent really connected with the story in the trilogy, but they are meant to complete the life of the characters so that the scripters to the movies will have a better view on the characters. Dunno when those two books will come out though.
