IE 7 - Need to adapt

Post by BigKwell »

I had recently upgraded to IE 7. I like it, but I keep getting script promps whenever I go to a profile that requires typing "I agree". Is there any way the site can be adapted to IE 7?

I don't think that Ken has IE7 installed yet. I know I don't as all of the clients that I support have IE6 installed still. But it's a resonable request.

I don't have IE7 installed on my computer, but I did get it installed on my wife's computer. So at first, when going to one of the pages with that Adult Content JavaScript warning, all I would get was an information bar saying "This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this website, click here to allow scripted windows.". Clicking on "Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows" didn't seem to do anything. No JavaScript prompt would come up, and refreshing the page would just bring up the same information bar message. So then I went to the IE security settings and changed the "Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows" setting to "Enable". That got the JavaScript prompt to start coming up.

Now, on to your issue. After I typed "I agree" in the JavaScript prompt, I was not prompted again until I restarted the browser. Thus, I can only assume that you're having cookie issues. Once you type "I agree", a cookie is set so that the prompt won't come up again. Check your internet settings and make sure cookies are enabled. You could also try adding AbsoluteAnime.com to your list of sites that are allowed to use cookies.
