Which is the correct one?
The Souls Databook says Soifon.

The Bleach Game for gamecube says Soifon.
I know that foneticaly there's little differece, so they could all be acceptable translitations, but after reading the official translitaration in the game and the databook, why do people keep saying Soi Fong?
Soifon x Soi Fong x Sui Fong?
Re: Soifon x Soi Fong x Sui Fong?
Beats me. Some people just perceived it that way, I guess. Not everyone hears the word the same way (I know I don't). Although I think I typed her name with a 'g' somewhere back some roads...
Wikipedia also has the spelling of "Soifon" and not "Soifong".

I have a BLEACH VCD...and Im quite confused myself. Cause sometimes, the sub would say Soi Fon, then Soi Fong...And sometimes...Sui Fong. I dunno.

Re: Soifon x Soi Fong x Sui Fong?
actually her name is a chinese derivative, so more accurately it would be Sùifēng which I believe means Something (I can't identify Sùi) Wind. (I'm pretty sure Fēng means wind, but since I can't find the chinese character for it I can only speculate) However, the japanese romaji spells is Soifon so that's what I go by.

It's correctly Soifon, according to Kubo... people translated it as Soi Fong because her character is Chinese-influenced, so it's not really a wonder that they'd translate it that way... Sui Fong is just a misspelling.

Her name is officially Soi Fon in the US. In Japan, her name was Fong Shaolin then it gor changed to Soi Fong, but here in America, her name is Soi Fon
