I like any anime/manga that focuses on both the characters and plot... And has a variety of details in each. Otherwise it starts to get boring.

Oh, and for some reason I like it when tough characters go soft for at least a little bit... they get funnier/smarter.

i have an extremely short attention span, so i really need to read something that gets me involved, but at the same time i love reading more than watching anime, because that if something happens u dont like u can just blank ur mind while ur reading that part

I like anime that makes me think. It makes the whole series more enjoyable. I also enjoy a lot of anime that is meant to give the reader some kind of emotion, I get really into any emotional books, so emotional anime is really easy for me to enjoy.^_^

I am mostly drawn to Shojo manga. They are the best and some of them are really deep that you start to think after you read it. One of the shojos I really like is Fushigi Yugi. It just stays with you.

i love anime... who really get me involved with the plot... i also want some kind of emotional investment in the characters, so that i can emphatize (how do you spell that) with them... i dont really have a genre that i stick to i like all kinds of manga/ anime

I like a good mix of emotinal and humor. Somthing like Ultra Maniac or Gravitation. But I love things like Loveless and Fruits Basket as well.

I go for the Horror, Action, and Romance Mangas myself. And I really like Shounen-ai mangas. GO GRAVITATION! And FAKE.. Can't forget the awesome Dee. Oh but let me tell you now: FURUBA IS THE BESTEST! It so saved my life and it's my absolute favorite manga. ^^

Humor and emotions are sometimes a good combo in a mange or anime. but there will be times where i either skip past it or just roll my eyes at just how the characters tend to 'overreact' to something. i think that's mainly because to me, the reader, the truth of things is obvious to where i begin to see the characters in question as blind dumbasses.

.... but there are times where i make myself deal with it.
