If someone wished that the jewel shard was never created then wouldn't that mean that Kikyo and InuYasha would may of never met or anything. The whole reason they were in the mess over the jewel was for the jewel.

The reason they attacked eachother and whatnot was because of the jewel. Right? So.. in a case.. the show without the jewel would utterly suck lol. Wait.. does that whole thing make sence?

LOL. well...that's what we were discussing is if inu would have met kikyo. cause yes, they met cause inu was following her around cause he wanted the jewel (he SO does NOT want to become a demon anymore, he is just afraid to say it...you can see it by the way he reacts when he transforms...he's remorseful).

but they also met cause of naraku. onigumo might still have been burned....cause he's a prick. but then again, he fell for kikyo adn without inu around, he probably would have done not so kosher of things (cause it's in the age). hmm....me no know. it will make for good fan fic baka will write when she has free time. yay for fanfic!!!

Inuyasha attack was first with Naraku...
later it was Kikyo attack that caused her to die..Naraku. Naraku disappeared and Kikyo with her last ounce of power she sealed Inu to the tree for 50 years. Till Kagome came and save him.

that's a big topic of fanfiction, honestly. how did inu survive on his own. i'm not sure what movie or episode it was but it shows clips of youkai chasing InuYasha through the forest and him being forced to hide, being only maybe six years old. i think he claimed in an episode (now i could be wrong) that he survived on his own...but i'm sure that there are external forces. and once dating back to my sessh-the-basket-case research, i think sesshoumaru had a hand in his survival. (case in point); when the panther youkai threatened to rip apart the lands in teh second war they waged against Sesshoumaru for revenge of their father, Jaken pleads with Sesshoumaru to retreive InuYasha. sesshoumaru knows that InuYasha is bound to the tree...how? because he had to check on him to find it true...and why would he check on his brother? things to ponder over.

I've always wondered how Inu survived... maybe Sesshy WAS a sort of brother and helped him out a tad.
Now back to the jewel thing.. I don't think that Kikyo and InuYasha would of ever met up with eachother.. the jewel was the only reason InuYasha was like.. stalking her But I dont know.. this is something to ask whats-her-name (the creator of InuYasha!!) lol... yup
