What is exactly the wrong way. "objectivity" is the keyword here. If everyone votes yes, just because he or she is friend then we run danger to get a maybe nice but totally incompetent user as a mod.

I voted no for the reason that I see you as being just a bit too immature. But other than that, I dont see why not. You would probably make an OK moderator.
