Well, you probably seen why registration is important. If people complain to much about an anonymous user there is only one recourse, which is to prevent all access for that user. We don't want that if you have things to contribute.

Dragon X, about your emails not going through when you make a yahoo account....sometimes when you first try to email someone for the first or second time it won't go through but keep trying cuz the email will eventually go through. I know cuz this it happened when I first made a yahoo email account or when I add someone new to my address book.
