Re: English/French
I'm an amateur at English, but I think I can help out with some things. DO NOT ask me about predicate or anything involving the PARTS of sentences, because I literally could make you totally fail.
In Literature, looking outside the box and comprehending the possible deep meanings to a story is my weakness. While I've been known to look into various works and analyze them to a point, the stories in literature BORE me. However, I'll be pleased to announce that I am not falling behind in class, so I don't need an unnecessary amount of help, unlike in Algebra II and US History. I AM, however, falling behind in comprehension of the stories according to my father, who really has no idea how BORING these stories are. I comprehend things FINE when they're CLEAR to me.
If you have a writing assignment and you have writer's block, I might be able to assist you in writing it by giving you an idea or two. I do NOT promise that I can help you with anything. If you need help in this class, I'll try my best, and maybe I can learn something myself.

If you ever have to do a huge French project on Algeria, just hang yourself.
That's the best advice ever.

Re: English/French
Anything and EVERYTHING related to the french language(not the culture..that'll be next year in my college class)...future tenses, past tenses, imperfect, subjunctive, etc, 4 paragraph essay composition on important decisions I've made in life that had to be written in 40 minutes (all in french of course), verbes of communication and movement, helping verbs, adjectives, fill-in words..all that jazz...then there was an hour and a half of listening to people having conversations in french and analyzing what they were saying then answering questions about what happened..like I said..hell. I think I did really well but it fried my brain! I didnt even need some of that stuff when I was in France last summer! lol
Im in love with him..

Re: English/French
Oh and for twenty minutes or so we had to look at a series of pictures then they would ask us questions in french like "What happened in this scene" and we'd have to speak into a recording microphone and(in french) make something up according to the pictures then thered be questions like, "How would you react in this situation?"...I prefer speaking french to writing it so that section was my fav.

If this forum is looked at a lot, I may be able to put up my short story and receive criticism in time to make edits before turning it in. >_>; So...anyone willing to take a look at my short story and tell me of my horrifying errors and bad attempt at making it sound good? [NOTE: I always exaggerate things.]

Re: English/French
I may be able. I self studied the proper way of making a short story before for a short story writing contest and English is one of my best subjects then I may help you out. don't worry about the exaggeration thing. It just shows how creative your mind is.Queen-Mion wrote:If this forum is looked at a lot, I may be able to put up my short story and receive criticism in time to make edits before turning it in. >_>; So...anyone willing to take a look at my short story and tell me of my horrifying errors and bad attempt at making it sound good?
