Yeah, you were right about me, but can I get myself out from underneath this guilt that will crush me? in the choir, I saw our sad Messiah he was bored and tired of my laments

Well, when I was in the Bahamas for Christmas, I asked a guy what is Boxing day. And basically, he summed it up by saying, "Well, we believe that we needed another day to party and recover from the hangovers/partying, so we celebrate Boxing Day."

The US doesn't have many holidays, so I think we should totally celebrate Boxing Day.

That is an accurate description of Boxing Day in Scotland and mostly likely the rest of the Commonwealth.

now i understand what Boxing Day is. XD thanks
I think we have too many holidays here, so i dont think we need one more. XD

I remember when i was looking at that calendar here and we were reading what kind of holidays our birthdays were on Australia. And his birthday is on Boxing Day.
We didn't know what it was about, so he said it was a Box Day! And that we should gather all boxes as we could and party! XDD

If you ever come to the UK, I will give you a fuller explanation, that I simply can not be arsed doing on AA.

Though if that isnt enough you probably shouldnt bother at all.

I hope that does not sound cynical. I meant it as kind as possible.

I suppose this is terribly unrelated to even the initial topic..

BUT ANYWAY, on new years eve I was working on the ambulance and we had to rescue a man who had been lost in the mountain. Extreme head trauma upon which we had him flown to westchester.

Terrible in a way, but such a relieving event!

How was everyone's holiday? Any holiday, it doesn't matter, so long as there was a celebration.
I felt like a race horse in a world without racetracks or a champion college footballer suddenly confronted by Wall Street and a business suit, his days of glory shrunk to a little gold cup on his mantel with a date engraved on it like a tombstone.

Wasn't it the Catholics wanted to destroy the Protestant rule of England by blowing up the House of Parliament where the current (Protestant) King James the I of England was (with his Parliament) but failed? lol.
