if memory serves saito first appears disguised as a medicine seller guy thing and rox up to kenshin's place n waits for im. there i think sano guesses that hes not really a medicine guy and saito beats the livin crap out of sano then kenshin n kaoru n the rest cum home to see sano all bloodied up n they get hell scared n all that n kenshin n saito fite. t hats if my memory serves me correctly.

Saito can beat anyone who wishes to fight him!!!! No one can beat him!!!!
