Lease favorite series: SeeD sucks. It was so retarted, I like SD gundam better then that piece of S***t.

how does seed suck? how was it retared? give some examples. i mean, come on, back up what you are saying with something that might make people believe you.

Seed does suck. I have written lots of long essayish posts detailing my hate for Seed and Seed Destiny, and I will look for those posts later. For now, I will sum up the reasons why I hate Seed.

what are monofaced character designs? what do you mean by unoriginal mecha designs? i see nothing wrong with the characters.(except for Fllay) :sick: there are recycled clips in GW too and i think other gundam series as well.

Hisashi Hirani is a poor character designer, every character has the same facial structure and features. I recall one of my friends on a different forum used photoshop and transplanted Kira's eyes and hair onto Athrun's body, and it was a dead ringer. The mecha designs are unoriginal, since they blatantly rip off Universal Century Gundam mechs, like the ZAKU Warrior is a blatant copy of the Zaku II, the GOUF Ignited a copy of the Gouf, etc...

GOUF Ignited- Gouf
DOM Trooper- Dom/Rick Dom
Destroy Gundam- Psycho Gundam/Psycho Gundam Mk. II
Murasame- Zeta Gundam
Freedom- Unholy almagam of the Double X's head, upper body and sattelite cannons, the F91's VSBRs, and the Wing Gundam's wings.

And you have to watch Seed Destiny to know what I am talking about when I say poor character development.



And Seed Destiny is the only Gundam anime to BLATANTLY rehash dozens of clips, Seed and Wing did too, but to a lesser extent, and every other Gundam anime kept the reusing of clips to a minimum. In fact, I only saw 3 clips reused in both Turn A Gundam and Zeta Gundam, compared to the countless flashbacks and random grunt deaths of Seed/Seed D.

i see what you are saying. i still like GS/GSD though. but everyone has their opinions i guess.

If you haven't finished watching Seed Destiny, I would avoid watching it. Seed is a masterpiece compared to Seed Destiny. Unless you want to watch Kira devolve into an emotionless robot programmed to serve Lacus, Cagalli devolve into an angst ridden girl suffering from an identity crisis and unseen insecurities, Athrun devolve into a unsure and weak willed retard, And Lacus evolve into a Goddess whom everyone must follow, and who's judgement is always correct.

And the main cast doesn't fare any better, I feel the most pity for Shinn Asuka, his character gets shafted from being the main character, to mindless lackey to the Chairman of ZAFT.

i haven't finished GSD yet but i am up to epiosode 32. i will make my final decision on the series when i finish watching the last epiosode. i do agree with you on one thing so far. the recycled clips do get kinda annoying.

In my guess ppl hates it because many ppl has seen Seed rather then the other Gundams and thinks that Seed is the best cause its the only they have seen

yeah that's true. but the only gundam series i have seen so far are GSD/GS and GW. i have not seen any of the other gundam series so i don't know what to say about them. however i just got gundam X from my friend and i am borrowing it from him. he said that the subtitles are poorly done though.

Gundam X is a good series with great characters, though it was cut short, it ends with a positive and uplifting ending. However, it also occasionally reuse clips of grunts getting shot down. Let's just say that I watch Gundam X for its character development, and not for its action.

I like just about anything Gundam except ZZ, F91, and Seed Destiny. I feel both of them were a case of bad decision making on part of the crew. Hopefully, the next Gundam show will improve on that part.

Gundam SEED's the best in my opinion... and GSD does not deserve to become a gundam series after all.

GSD is not that bad in my thoughts but they should of kept the same characters
