Struck out on the Philosopher's Stone again, huh? How am I supposed to keep funding this wild goose chase? Money doesn't grow on trees, there, chief! Ed, where'd you run off too? Oh, there you are! I couldn't see you over my paperwork

So Suzukaze then? Hmm, she's decent enough, but I didn't think she was right for Kenshin. There was just something . . . missing.

Well, she's decent, but, to me, it felt like her voice didn't suit Kenshin. It was too feminine. Just because Kenshin looks like a woman doesn't mean he has to sound like one, but that's the case with many feminine anime guys. Cansino's voice was perfect for him: soft and gentle with a touch of goofiness, but serious when necessary.

Hmm, Suzukaze didn't really seem to get the emotions right. They sometimes sounded forced.

That she was trying too hard to sound murderously angry.

But if she puts too much, people could tell it's an actor. I think Weaver did the same thing, which is why I don't like his version of Kenshin. But that's just how it is to me. Maybe it's because I listened to Cansino's first then to Weaver's and Suzukaze's . . .
