Those clearly are not the most powerful pokemon ever. Lugia is useful but the other two are simply mediocre at best.

Just looking at its stats alone Mew isn't uber powerful when compared to the top tier pokemon. Its stats are all fairly high and balanced, however. What makes Mew so sought after is that it is difficult to acquire and the fact that it can learn absolutely any technique in existence. Mew's also kinda cute looking lol.

It is a tough match between Rayquaza and Mewtwo. Mewtwo certainly has the more power, but Rayquaza can match that power with the correct training and moves taught. Mewtwo is somewhat limited in its moves. I know that Mewtwo can learn TMs, but I'm talking on its own learning moves. I don't put Deoxys in this mix because I have yet to aquire mine, and see what its realy capable of.
it comes down to both thier most powerful attacks.

It is a tough match between Rayquaza and Mewtwo. Mewtwo certainly has the more power, but Rayquaza can match that power with the correct training and moves taught. Mewtwo is somewhat limited in its moves. I know that Mewtwo can learn TMs, but I'm talking on its own learning moves. I don't put Deoxys in this mix because I have yet to aquire mine, and see what its realy capable of.

You've gotta be kidding me. Outrage is a crappy move. Also, Mewtwo would be better off using ice beam against Rayquaza rather than Psychic. Mewtwo will lose STAB but Rayquaza's quad weakness to ice more than makes up for it. Rayquaza is better off using a move like Crunch against Mewtwo.

Dude, you don't need to have trained Deoxys to know what it's capable of. Just look at those stats and movesets! Crazy strong!

Mewtwo doesn't Naturally learn Ice beam. I was talking naturally raised. Also, outrage has a power of 90, which is boosted due to Rayquaza being a dragon, as is Mewtwo's psychic. I also decided to put this theory of mine to the test and I battled one on one with my friends mewtwo. His mewtwo was Lv 100 my rayquaza lv 97. The both of us raised our pokemon with only their natural moves. As expected he used recover and psychic. I used outrage and hyperbeam when i knew he would lose. I won 4 out of the 7 battles we had. I'm sticking with my claim based on that. (yes i was determined so much to figure out who was better that i called a friend and got him to come out to the dorms and have a pokemon battle with me. I am just that lame.)

There is a difference between Max stats, and the stats that you actually get.


Deoxys.. ..Good but not well rounded. No matter what form, its going to have weaknesses in its stats. thats not what i consider to be strong. i could be wrong though. I hafta see one in action to be sure. I dun operate on stats i operate on experience.

Meh, battling pokemon against each other with just their naturally learned moves makes battles ridiculously boring and predictable.

It is possible to obtain a pokemon with max stats but it's extremely rare. I've never had a pokemon with max stats, myself.

The only Deoxys form with a real glaring weakness is the attack form. It has offensive stats thru the roof but has horrifying defenses. Defense form is hard to kill and makes a phenomenal tank/annoyer while speed form is the fastest pokemon in existence and is well rounded.
