I have eight volumes of the manga so far. Haven't seen the kiss yet.

I finished watching "Fruits Basket" today and the finale was so unexpected. I never expected Kyo to be transformed into such a grotesque form. I was so sad for Tohru and my eyes even teared up. I liked the scene where Kyo was hugging Tohru after he transformed into his normal self. It showed how much he loves her.

[KoYue]

It's so sweet, huh? ^^ In volume 11 of the manga, Kyo realizes just how much he loves Tohru. It's sad. Akito makes him cry.

I hate Akito with a passion. Why is she doing this? I can understand her situation but she is going way too far hurting the others.

How did Akito make Kyo cry?

[KoYue]

Well, getting hit with stuff can be painful, but she called Tohru a bunch of names and thought it was very funny when Kyo defended her. Akito said that it was just perfect for a monster like Kyo to fall in love with a monster like Tohru. Then she said Kyo had no right to fall in love because he killed his own mother.

[Shinogu]

She is such a monster. Did he really kill his mother?

[KoYue]

No. His mother committed suicide.

[Shinogu]

Why? Is it because of her son transforming into a grotesque form?

[KoYue]

Yeah. She couldn't take it. But what really messed Kyo up was seeing Kyoko die.

[Shinogu]

I love Kyo so very much. I also felt that Tohru really loves him on the finale.

[KoYue]

I can't remember if Tohru ever found out that if Kyo had pulled Kyoko out of the way she would still be alive.

[Shinogu]

I really didn't expect the anime to end up on this way. The scene where Tohru was at her mother's grave, crying was so sad. The way her friends cried made me want to cry.

[KoYue]

The anime had a loose ending.
