The ending is sad though. The movie however I will be watching this weekend to kill the pain of the series finale.

SOMEONE CREATED AN "ED IS DEAD" THREAD? AND I MISSED IT? HOW?!?

I came back on here specifically to laugh at people who were grieving over Episode 50, and I missed this. Bah.

Listen, folks, if you don't like Ed, then why were you even watching FMA? Pretty much whole series is about him and Al. And no, Ed's not stupid - if he was, he would not have been able to become a State Alchemist.

And at his age, that's something even better.

I knew even before the show picked up again for the second season what would happen at the end. Fan-subs are helpful, y'know.
Spoiler
Show
But yeah, um... seeing as how Al was the Philosopher's Stone, I was surprised nobody figured out how it would end. What, did you think 51 would just be everybody grieving over Ed's death, and boo-hoo, The End? Tchyeah, right.
Oh, yeah, one more...
Spoiler
Show
Ed technically didn't die in Episode 51, when he gave up his life for Al. So don't grieve for that, either.

Thank you, I was trying to get that point across. No main charcter really dies. It may look like it, but they always find a way to come back into the living world.
