Chichiri has the best story, and despite what many less observant viewers may realize, he is the most important of the male characters.

I like Tasuki, but Nuriko and Chichiri are nice characters too. Yeah, it's a good anime just have to be open-minded though.I think one DVD consists of 6 episodes so it really must be expensive.Oh...and no offense..I dont like Miaka that much, but it's not like i hate her.

I LOVE Fushigi Yûgi, I have all the mangás, all the episodes and I love almost everybody (buut... I really hate Nakago and the Seiryuu's Seishis....)
I love the seiyuus of the anime... specially the Suzaku Seishis' ones....
and the songs!!! They are the best
