ok ok ok. just tell me which u thought was better, the OVAs and Sam X movie!!!?!?! or the series

personally as u couldve guessed i loved the ovas and sam x movie MUCH more than the series. the ovas were so graphic and gory. and it showed the truly lethal side of kenshin and revealed his dark past in depth. it also revealed exactly y he has stated to have gone thru so much crap and y he despises how he was in his past as hitokiri battousai....or the manslayer. and the sam x movie was just awesome neways specially the basically last half of it. watched it 4 times total. well neways tell me wut u guys think

The Samurai X motion picture was a massive diappointment.
The OVA's are really awesome, but I think that the anime series is better. Except for the final arc.
In conclusion, its all good ('cept the motion picture) but far and away, the best RK is the manga. By far!

I agree with DOM I loves samurai X though . (I didn't know it was a movie...).

DOM: Do they show all the episodes over where you are? They only show the episodes up the the end of the Shishio arc. I've downloaded all 90-whatever episodes in good ol' Japanese and subtitles , and I think that they are depriving the TV watchers of a good half or the series (the last episode was a little weird though, Watsuki really messed up on that one in my opinion )

Watsuki had basically nothing to do with the anime. He only did the manga. The series was taken out of his hands and I agree, they screwed up....but the middle arcs are good.

Wow I didn't know that! I actually saw someone that looked exactly like Watsuki to a 'T'!(His chibi picture anyways) I just kept staring at him until he noticed me

Anyways, I liked the episode where Sano get a dog I'm glade it didn't last though I think Notario was driving them all crazy, lol.

Meh, no not really he looked like he was in dyer need of a shave and a new hat (Yes he even had that same hat and glasses)

That was by far the best fight no doubt in my mind. I have a music video for Saitou that is wonderful, it starts out black and white in the beginning and gives off a wonderful feel of creativity in my opinion.

I don't like the English voice actors for any of the Rurouni Kenshin shows ect. They either sounded too young or just plain weird 0.o . I like the original Japanese voice actors much better, they also play the roll better too in my opinion.

Mhh... I have only seen the Sam X movie once (it was coincidence) but I loved it. Up to then I only knew the mangas, hovever, the motion picture was quite convincing. I loved the animation as well @.@

The first thing I saw of RK was the movie (over a year ago) but it's not very good, and it's irretating with that scene that comes over and over again
The first OVA is the best of all (not counting the manga, though) I've seen it sevral times and it's just gets better and better and more sad each time
