Shakugan no Shana

This has to be one of the must under rated animes of the year mostly because it's so short (only a mear 24 episodes) but it has all the good qulities of all those big name anime. Sword fighting, magic, romanic love story, and most of all what all good animes have fan servies.

This anime focuses around the advengers of a young female demon slayer named Shana. Her title is the Flamed-Haired Red-Eyed Flame Haze for obvious reasons and her mission which is that of all Flam Hazes to mantain the balance of the world by stoping the forces of evil from eating the souls of humans. Well one day this bad ass little warrior meets a boy named yugi (not to be confused with the kid from yu-gi-oh) then tells him he's already died and the drama builds from there. (I'd tell you more but that would take to long.)

Now so fare I haven't heard to many bad thing about this series but alot of guys like to complain about Shana not having any berest and being alittle on the short side. Well alittle info for all of you the average Japanese woman doesn't get any taller then 5'5 and most of the time have C or B-cups so stop wineing. You don't need big boobs to save the world. (call me crazy but personally I like petit women.)

Picked up the first DVD volume at Best Buy the other day. I'd heard some mixed things about the series, but I was convinced to buy it because of the cool shot of Shana on the cover.

Yes, a loli with a sword is what pushed me into picking it up. And I'm glad I did, as it's a very enjoyable series (thus far, anyway) with a rather interesting twist. And the "pervert with a doll fetish" is awesome.

I agree this series is really good, only 24 episodes? Too short for something that looks so good oh well as for the prevert with a doll fetish love 'im gotta love love a villain with a creepy fetish like dolls lol

I think Shakugan no Shana is awesome too. Hehe... But it's not really my fave anime...but I like it.

it's a good anime, it's starts off pretty good....i was sucked in to it after the first episode. i was expecting a serious consequence for the action Shana took in the end
