This is odd....

Sorry to say this, I didn't know witch section this tread should have went in so I just put it under "about the site"

any way, a load of my friends have been saying they want to leave the site, the two main people doing the spamming have calmed down allot. But any way the rudeness is just too much I don't even have to say any thing rude and I get in the face. People keep saying “oh ignore it” but then that leaves the person to do it other people, the chat is ok, but some times on the forums it’s a night mare.

People just get very opinionated at times and sometimes people are just being flat out rude. And try to justify their rudeness by saying it is "there opinion." For some reason, having an opinion around here gets you out of literally everything, lol. And I don't think that's the way we should go about things, but I'm not one to talk.

Things just happen sometimes, and life isn't fair. So, like, I don't want to offend you or anything, Commander Sparx, but I don't think anything around here is going to change. It's been this way for far to long. And if it is going to change, I think it will take something drastic to happen for that to occur.

'Cause like, people around here are far too judgemental and they think that they are right 100% of the time. I guess that's more of a consideration, than an agreement. Don't get me wrong, I love AA, and I do agree with you on some level, but it's not worth it to try and bring down the rudeness. It's kinda what gives AA it's personality and spunk, if you ask me.

Anyways, a lot of these posters are competitive and out spoken. And let's face it, most of them aren't kids, they're around the ages of 16-18 or older. And habits die hard, so if we want to change them, I guess we could try. But who are we to? We're not their parents, we don't know them and they can't run their lives.


I don't know. I sorta agree with you, but then again I don't. I just think we all need to get strict and stop giving into all this "My opinon!" bullcrap. Its one thing to have an opinion, but another thing to try and use you opinion to hurt people or get what you want.

And people say mods abuse powers? Which I guess they kinda do in some ways. Hell, I do every now and then... By mistake! Or, in the chat, we use alerts to talk to one another and liven up the chat. Although it can lag the process of the chatroom, which I do apologize for. And we have used very little alerts.

Anyways, my point is, if we get strict and stay by our original rules and stop putting exceptions in there... I think things will be manageable. Because we all can tell the difference between when someone is stating their opinion (I.E DEBATING ) or trying to be a jerkoff(I.E SAYING OFFENSEIVE JOKES).

you have allot of point there and you’re so true about getting stern with the rules, that would work it's make them thing (maybe) and true there older ages so we can't treat them like kids.

The room alerts I didn't mind at all, I can understand a mod having a little bit of fun.

Some people here also I find are trying to big them self’s up a little, I’m not sure on why they do that.

But there is one person on this site and all he/she posts is 90% rude.

It’s got a little better as well, and I have to say, you’re the best mod here Lilly.

I have had trouble with only one user on these forums. And no he wasn't a flamer or a spammer. He was something much worse.

No one here is really a negative concern to me right now. I haven't seen anyone doing anything rude worth mentioning.
