Frustrated..

Post by Kaname Chidori »

Hello all! I am currently in a bind. I want to find some new animes to watch, but I can't find any that really intrest me. The ones I watch and do like are: Full Metal Panic, Inuyasha, and Fruits Basket. I absolutly loved these three. I guess I just like the whole romance/comedy sometimes action animes. Does anyone know some other anime series like these?
Thanks! :D

Then I have the perfect one- Ranma 1/2 is by the same creator as InuYasha, Rumiko Takahashi, and I think Ranma's action/romance/comedy is even better than inuyasha's

Go to http://www.animetakeout.com/ You don't have to be a member to look around the site. In the upper left hand corner of the page, there is a "Browse The Menu" box. Inside that, there is a small white box that says "genre." Click on the little black arrow and it will provide you with a list of different kinds of Anime. Click on one and the site will show you all the things they have that fall into that category. Click on a specific title to see what it says about it.

Make a list of the ones that strike your fancy. Then go to http://www.animenfo.com/index.php and put the name of a particular Anime in the search box. When it comes up, click on reviews and find out what other Anime fans thought of it.

Anime News Network and Anime on DVD are also websites with excellent reviews. This site has great Anime and character information but no reviews except for the few that get posted in the "Specific Anime" forum.

You might like Love Hina too... the comedy is more similar to miroku's "incidents" in Inu Yasha, only several of Keitaros (More often than not) are actually accidents, which get him ito LOTS of troubble...

Rumiko Takahashi has a lot of series, and each is something like the series that precieds the last.

Ranma 1/2
Maison Ikkoku
Urusei Yatsura

Though I think Urusei Yatsura is her best work, but it's a little over whelming to get into. What with 190+ episodes, 6 movies and 11 OVAs.
