Whats evangelion about?

What's evangelion about? i always see pictures of it in the magazine newtype but i dont know what its baout and it doesnt really tell you....

It's not very easy to put it in words, owing to how complex the series it, but it centers around the trials of three 14 year-old kids, who pilot huge bio-mechanical beings called Evangelions.

The main character is Shinji Ikari, who was thrust upon the struggle between mankind, who had survived a titanic ecological crisis 15 years prior, and the Angels.

At first, a lot of the episodes are mostly fun and battles, but as the series progresses, a lot of things get revealed, including hidden agendas, physcological problems, murder, and Bible prophecy.

You just have to watch it to understand it.

it's about this apocalyptic world, in whic 14 yearolds pilot things called evas.^^ but that's not what's really interesting...... to me, the characters' emotions and mental instability is what made it good!^^ if you want a complete ending of ot, watch the movies!^^ you should watch it, though!^^ it's great, but it fryed my brain!^_^*

What the hell are you smoking? The EVAs are angels. The armor is simply bindings.

You're both right. The Evas are angels but angels are just another form of what humans might have been.

It's ok to be confused. I'm still confused about some aspects, even after seeing it about 5 times!

But why on earth you'd want to know if the main character dies before even seeing it? In the "Do" and "Don't" of anime, this is a big "No-No"
Is it because you like the drama? It has maybe a little more drama than you may be used to in an anime...

BTW, I won't tell you if he dies or not!
Just see the show and movies, and then we'll talk!
