Post by Bovinagina »

Demyx has it for the PS3 and is having difficulties getting past that pidgeon Credo.

Any advice?

Digressing a bit, is it a good game? I've heard different things from different people.

I thought it looked amazing, but I hear the gameplay is redundant.

It's a repetative button mashing uber fast slash fest. It's weak in story alright in graphics but the playability is amazing.

I'm playing it for the 360.
It takes but one man to breed a war, for those who do not have swords may still die upon them.

I had it beat the first night I had it... Spam the Devil Bringer.... He's basically a boss version of the White knights. Then when you get to where you can slam him use the devil trigger to get more damage out of the move.

I enjoyed the game, although the guys at gamefaqs had me thinking... Is Gloria really wearing any undies?

Wow. Uhm... I dunno. XD I got to the part where I play as Dante... and then I started playing something else. lol.

I like the story, even though its pretty standard/basic. The playability is great, which is why I usually suggest it to my friends who lack in gaming ability and expirience. I love the graphics. BUT THE DAMN CAMERA! IT TICKS ME OFF! I'll be trying to do something and WHAM the camera suddenly spins where I don't want it.

Credo was pretty easy to beat even on Devil hunter difficulty. Only took like 2-3 minutes with the right upgrades. Use the devil arm snatch ability and it will instead of bringing him to you like normal you'll slingshot over to him, you can use the same ability to maneuver around him an evade his attacks. Inject the Red Queen with fuel until it's maxed at level 3 and wail away on him with tier 3 sword abilities. When it cools down inject more fuel and repeat until he loses.....oh and when he's vulnerable use the devil arm attack to severely weaken him. Activating Yamato before you use the devil arm attacks will triple the damage you inflict.

The camera is fine to me. Sometimes when it would switch to a fixed camera it was bothersome but not bad, I still managed to slice up my enemies.

The only trouble I had was on level 11 in the advent room (prevent the birth of a god) trying get over that huge wall, it totally annoyed me. I'm well past it now though.

Dante makes me laugh so hard when he messes with the bosses and makes fun of them. Dante pwns all.

Thanks for the walkthrough Aoi, but I already beat Credo. It just took me a while, is all.

Yeah, but I mean in the secret missions. And a few other areas where it would spin depending on where I was.

omg that one secret mission behind the tree was aweful. DX i can't do crap on that game except button mash the crap out of the controller and then still lose, but the camera angles in that one secret mission especially suck and besides that you have to do it all with in 30 seconds.....with the shetty camera angles.

I think in order, my faves are 3, 4, 2, 1. 1 was kinda boring looking back at it, and 2 was only a step up. 3 and 4 roxurd.

My favorite is 3 then 1, 4, 2. The Original was what started it all, it's what got me hooked on DMC, there is no way I could ever think of it as boring.

Hm... Not so much boring as just not as exciting as the newer ones. lol. But I got hooked kinda on accident! I was skimming the bookstore and ended up buying the first volume of the DMC3 manga. I was hooked from then on, and started playing the games. xD

Devil May Cry was the first action game I ever played, as well as my first M rated one (in a way I guess you could say I lost my video gaming virginity to it :heh: Nyan!). I never thought I would get it, so when I suddenly got it at chirstmas I was so happy I started crying. I've got all the games beat except 2, and I 've got the special edition of DMC4. Dante is so awsome! He's not usually the king of guy I like in a video game or anime(I usually like the loners), but I still love him to death. He's so freakin funny too! "Hey look, its got wings"! :heh: :heh: :heh: Classic!
