About Kimba the White Lion

I've been checking the profile of this series on the site... and curiously, it does not vibe with my memories.

I saw King Leo (the French title) as a little kid... but I don't remember episodes where Kimba is depicted as a kid, only ones where he's a mature (if youthful... I used to believe him old, but that may be due to the white fur) Lion King.

So, would anybody around whether there was a followup series made about an adult Kimba?
