Anime Attractions

Ok me and my friends are all together talking about anime and other stuff then one of my friends brings something up about how hot anime girls are so that got me thinking. Man why do I like anime girls? I'm a normal guy and I love to talk to, hang out with, and date real girls but there just something about anime girls but I can't quite put my finger on it. so I have developed this theory that the people are attracted to anime character because their made to seem almost perfect but that’s what I think. So why do you think people are attracted to anime characters? Is this a normal reaction or something else? I want everyone’s opinion oh and girls don't deny it your attracted to anime guys same as we are I've seen your hot guy topics.

Perhaps it is because the world of fiction is so much more perfect than in real life. I am much happier watching anime than going to school and sitting through the same old crap. And its not that Im antisocial or anything, but anime girls can be the girl of your dreams even if that person does not exist in real life.

I think it's fine, it's ok to feel that way. I mean it's fantasy, everyone has them, and some of them are about anime girls/guys. Yes, anime girls are seemingly perfect, they're beautiful, and it's ok to fantasize about them. And yeah some anime girls have could be your dream girl, becuase to you they are perfect. So I agree with what Angel said, the fantasy world can seem greater then reality, and people wish they were a part of fantasy, that our fatasies were real.

Whether it be from anime, books, shows, movies, or whatever... Everyone gets crushes on characters, it is 100% healthy, and kinda pointless to question.

If you're seriously into the common anime character body builds, that more or less means that you're into Asians, but there are non-Asians with such builds too.
If it's the skin tones, real people can be pale too.
If it's the hair-eye combos, there are real people like that.
If it's the facial structures, again, there are actual people with such faces, it's just more common among Asians like the builds they use.

If any sort of show were to have perfect characters, 'twould be too boring to watch, as well as annoying because no one could relate.

Maybe they just seem perfect, because you consider those particular ones you like to be perfect for you, or like with a crush on an actual person, perhaps you're merely ignoring the flaws.

Besides, for many of the people here, where you live, there are people who look and act like anime characters (without doing so intentionally) all over the place, you just have to look for them. The difference being that there's such things as achne and shaving with the actual people, and if you've got a problem with that, you're not likely to ever get into a serious relationship...

Tell me, do you people really not know anyone who could be made into an anime character?

& I may be more likely to use anime guys for dreamin', due to the lack of any good and single guys around where I live, but I can't take serious interest in a person merely of fiction...

Good responses everyone and especially you Hamlet. I can tell your the type of person who thinks outside the box and beyond what you see I like that but you all can't deny that there are those people out there who give anime fans a bad name. I mean come nothing wrong with alittle fantasy now and them (take it from me I know not that many great single girls where I'm at neither ) but (and i'm not trying to make fun of anyone by saying this because I have a friend with this problem and I've been trying to help him for along time.) but there are those who would lock themselves away like hermits because they think the whole worlds against them and that kinda reflects badly on the rest of us you know
