g gundam being not so good

i like it reaily but its abit taky i meen the cotpit or what ever you call it and their rediculous suits with the points on the shoulders that they were while fighting are abit iffy?

It's the first Alternate Universe Gundam that Sunrise/Bandai (Not sure which one) created, and to be honest, I didn't like it that much. The second half is supposed to be much better, but I don't really want to find out. While some gundam designs were cool (Lumber Gundam, God Gundam, Spiegel Gundam) some were really odd (Mandala Gundam, Heaven's Sword Gundam, Mammoth Gundam) and some were just atrocious (Devil Gundam, Mermaid Gundam, Grand Gundam). They also changed the type of the anime from Real Robot to Super Robot, and while I like Super Robot anime, Gundam was not meant to be a Super Robot Anime. If I want Super Robot, I'll watch some Tosho Daimos, or Mazinger Z. But G Gundam? No thanks.

I also found it to be extremely DBZ-ish, If I want to see the hero have a one-dimentional personality fight in one-on-one fights in a tournament, i'll watch DBZ, I like gundam because the heros are all not the "Perfect Hero" type people, and I also want to have a better storyline than:
A) your brother took the ultimate gundam
B) You fight through and entire series of battles against completely uninvolved people to stop him.
C) It's over
--- This isn't a very elaborite or character developing story, I see almost no real conflict here... and rarely any real emotions between the fighters that are allies other than "We jsut fought but since you let me continue wer'e friends now so i'll gladly die to help you fix the big mess you beat us up even though we were uninvolved you got into..." ---

You are correct, I gave G Gundam another shot, and the second half is very good, albeit a bit cheesy. The God Gundam's design is very nice, and the plot becomes quite intriguing. The first half still sucks though.
