Battle Royale - All series

If there was a battle royale between the main characters of all of the gundam series, piloting their respective suits (Assuming the latest models seen in their series) How do you think the ranking would go, I'll just post my bottom 3 and top 3, from what I've seen...

Last 3 Placers
Last: Kira Yamato - He's a great pilot be his emotions would get in the way of his performance far too easily.
Second-To Last: Domon Kashu - Hot headed and punching things won't do much god in a mass combat
Duo Maxwell - Again, hot headedness isn't a good trait, and in a battle with so many high-level Mobile Suits, Deathscythe Hell Custom wouldn't be all that great, hard to hit, but wouldn't get too far either...

Top 3 Finishers
3rd - Amarou Ray (In vGundam) - The enhanced funnels and newtype system would give him an advantage that only a few, such as gundam rose and Sazabi gundam, as well as LeCurse's latest suit, could match... and he's not a bad pilot all things considered.

2nd - Heero Yuy - He's got some good ranged firepower, and he's apt to choose his fights in the most effective manner, and he has a cool nerve that would give him a psychological advantage, and the Zero System's tactical data would be a help.

1st - I have to say Trowa Barton... he is skilled at close combat firearms and he has enough weapons to go around... several times, he would also be prone to pick his targets, much like heero, however not nearly to the extent.

Well, in truth Amuro is probably the most experinced combat wise of all the mobile suit pilots. How ever I'm guessing you haven't heard of how advanced the WD-M01/system-A99 Turn A Gundam piloted by Loran Cehack is. It is spoken of by all who know it as one of the dreaded Gundams of legend.

I would like to think that the quote by Manfred Von Richtoven still holds true that "It's not the crate, but the man inside the crate.", but if your compairing biplanes to jet fighters the superior crate is going to win.

I like the quote, and it is true that I haven't seen turn A, however like i said, my opinios are "To the best of my knowledge" which means that what I haven't seen is less considered than what I have, in other words a somewhat unequal and biased opinion. Which is why I asked this question... to find out what others think, for isn't that the reason for all questions?

Did someone say Turn A? Yeah, in a battle royal, the Turn A will win. It has the Moonlight Butterfly system which can wipe out any mobile suit in existance (except for probably the Nu Gundam, because if its 360 degree Fin funnel shield). It is also a lethal mobile suit in hand to hand combat (with beam sword, and unarmed), I've seen it use its bare hand to slice the arm of a WaDom off. The WaDom is a 40 meter mobile suit. It has also lifted one of these WaDom's over its head. in Zeta Gundam terms, it would be like the Mark II lifting up the Psycho Gundam. I've also seen it move a battle cruiser by itself with its bare hands. It also has a number of other advanced technological features that would augument its power. The runner up would be Amuro in his Nu. His Nu has fin funnels, which can attack at great distances while his Nu just hangs back, and they double as a 360 degree beam shield. and Amuro is the most experienced pilot, just as Duuz has said, and from what I've seen at the battle of A Boa Qu, experienced pilots in weaker suits will most likely defeat inexperienced pilots in better suits. Hey Kenshin, you don't have to listen to me, but you would probably be more convincing if you provide some evidence to back up your words, like what J. Kudo has done, just because you say he is the best pilot doesn't prove it. But yeah, I don't think Kira would be at the bottom 3 placers, He would probably be towards the middle or above. His Freedom is a very powerful mech and would be able to easily destroy a lot of Wing and early UC mecha, and Kira has some excellent piloting skills. But I doubt he will be able to overcome the powerful and technologically advanced Turn A, as the Moonlight Butterfly will still be able to destroy the Freedom in a single hit.

BTW J. Kudo, while I think Trowa is an excellent pilot, what happens when he runs out of ammo and has to resort to his army knife?

What? You want them listed by the years they were made or in chronological order?

Kira is good, although he lacks the experince that Amuro has in the end. It should be noted though that Kira and Amuro start out the exact same way, Amuro gets ranked higher because he's a Newtype first off and he ends up piloting mobile suits for almost 7 years. Keep in mind he was under house arrest during the rise of the Titan in Zeta.

And I think Seabook Arno should be near the top of the list. I mean think about it, how many mobile suit pilots do you know that can evade the 125 tentacle rods of the Rafflesia and it's 8 scattering beam guns, 10 mega beam cannons, and 4 beam cannons?

I remember that scene in F91. Very impressive for a newbie pilot. I'm pretty sure most experienced pilots wouldn't survive against that MA. That Rafflesia was one of the weirdest Mobile Armors I've seen, and probably one of the deadliest.

The Turn A Gundam's most powerfull attack. It releases an endless swarm of nanomachines which destroys anything made with technology or metal, e.g. computers, machine factories, tanks, mobile suits, etc... It caused the "dark ages" in the correct century universe, forcing humanity to start history over from scratch (Which is why the setting of Turn A Gundam is similar to the early 1900s of our time)

If there were a royale, Kudo, then Trowa would run out of bullets pretty quick, and the Heavyarms Custom has no melee weapons.

Very true, the Heavy Arms custom's high rate of fire and ammo dependency is a liability. Of course all Gundams have a need for ammo because most of them do have vulcan cannons in the head as well, but they seem to use them as either anti-missile weapons or a secondary use. Even the beam weapons batteries go dead unless it's directly linked to the mobile suit's reactor to charge the weapon's Capasitor.

And you know after watching Yzak take down both the Forbiden and Raider Gundams, I can't see how Kira was able to knock him out of action so many times. Of course Yzak had Kira's same emotional problem, only Yzak up to near the end was blinded by rage. Now at the end Yzak with him emotions in check seems to be a top level pilot.

well, i was half expecting to see heero yuy or kira at the top of the list but trowa? i like trowa 'cause i'm a wing fan but is heavy arms mobile enough for that battle royale?

i've only seen wing, g gundam and some episodes of
seed and seed destiny and 1st 3 eps of original gundam so i don't know about the other gundams

how about this all pilots were all piloting Gins from seed, with all the same armorments beam rifle (or what ever its called), laser sword, and sheild...

now how would you place it? its all about skill (and luck) from there personally i ve only seen two wing and seed so i can't be eligeble to vote on this...

Oh so now you want to level the playing field and put every one in the same type of suit. I'd think you'd see a top 3 of Amuro, Seabook and I want to say Kamille, but some how that doesn't feel right. I'll say Athrun.

Why Seabook? You have to see him in the manga Crossbone Gundam. Actually maybe I'll add Zabine Charuex instead. He's just a normal human with skills that can keep up with newtypes.

to people wh doesn't know why i want to put them on even grounds is because its unfair to people who have worse tech nology. because to me phaseshift armor suck to gundaiinium or how ever you spellit:(
so to put them on even ground throws away the tech. and focuses more on the person, and skill.
