Cartoon Description: Princess Yue
When Yui was born, she was a stillborn. The water healers did all they could to save her, but all was lost. So the king and queen took her to the pond where Moon Spirit lived, and it gave some of it's life energy to Yue, which turn her hair from brown to white.
Princess Yue is the tragic beauty whom Sokka met and fell in love with in the North Pole. As much as Yue loves Sokka, she is already engaged to someone else, even though she hates his guts (her parents arranged this marriage).
Princess Yue sacrifices herself to revive the moon spirit in the last episode of Season 1.
