Character Profile: Zoltar

Berg Katse was a chimeric mutant created by Sosai X as the result of fusioning two fraternal twins (one male, one female) into a single enity for the task of world domination. Katse was plagued by a troubled childhood, changing from male to female on a yearly basis. Katse had to spend years transferring between schools until he gained control over this ability.

He eventually became the leader of Galactor, reporting only to Sosai X. In female form, Katse is highly intelligent with a IQ of 280-- a carefully calculating leader. In male form, Katse is less intelligent and more arrogant. Katse's overconfidence occasionally leads to Galactor's defeat by the Science Ninja Team when they, by rights, should have everything neatly in the bag.

Katse is an excellent disguise artist and has turned up right under the Science Ninja Team's noses more than once. Katse managed to keep his transgender nature a secret throughout most of the series until Dr. Nambu dug up some old school records and documentation, then fit the puzzle pieces together. But when Sosai X abandons Berg to die in the Black Hole Operation, the mutant regrets ever existing as he is and commits suicide.
