Character Description: Ren Mihashi
Mihashi is a baseball pitcher who does nothing but think of baseball! In middle school he was bullied by his team because he didn't want to come off the pitching mound when he was doing bad. His grandfather owned the school and the team moaned at Mihashi, saying that he was only their 'Ace' because of Favourtism. This led to Mihashi being a VERY self-conscious and an negative person. He left his team and moved away.
He enters high school and decides to just look at the baseball team and is literally dragged onto the team! There he finds many new friends, his 'Battery' Abe Takaya, and a new team to pitch on.
Mihashi is often the center of the comical scenes in the series. He is normally nervous and annoys Abe Takaya. This makes the funny and sad moments between them more memorable. His cousin, Ruri, nicknamed him Ren-Ren.
