Character Profile: Stephanie

Stephanie is a very odd woman. Born in Europe, possibly in England, she had traveled to Japan hoping to learn the ways of the samurai. However, this girl has very skewed views about Japanese culture and caste rankings, not to mention her great height and strength makes her stand out like a sore thumb.

Originally, Stephanie had traveled to Japan with her father, who was on business. She had become fascinated by the way of the samurai and wanted to be one. Of course, because of her lack of understanding in Japanese culture, she had gotten into an argument with a man who had knocked down an old woman in the road and demanded an apology from him. Things later escalated into a fight and she nearly clobbered the onlookers, so it's a good thing Ran had interjected and stopped her. But soon Stephanie became impressed by Ran's skill and, for a while, accompanied her and Meow on their travels.
