Who are the Black Ops. I mean, I know that they are elite ninjas, but what are they for?

I think the Black Ops are for protecting peace on Konoha, I think. I'm not so sure though, they always appear on Naruto but they I still don't get fully what they are for.

They might be something like what the ANBU are.

I thought they were the highest level ANBU?? Maybe I'm wrong thats just what it thought.

The Black Ops are not so much the highest level of anbu rather a group of anbu that are the most skilled in a particular skill (ie. Assassination, Healing, etc.)

I know Kabuto kill three of them to get to Sasuke, while Sasuke was healing.

it couldnt be, Kakashi is ranked as a special Jounin, because he is only good in certain areas. Kakashi was once an anbu, but technically they say he is a special jounin.

The black ops, are most likely a branch of the Anbu.

most likely they are a branch of anbu.

(and your talking about the guy's in the robes right?) their mostly the top anbu designed for homeland defense...probably...
