I enjoy anime as well. But it is very possible to see an anime and find it not to your liking.

-Yu Yu Hakusho (started the manga but so far the anime remains superior)
-S-cry-ed (been too long since I've viewed the anime so I need to rewatch it to decide between it and the manga)

-Love Hina (manga only)
-Fullmetal Alchemist (haven't read manga but plan to)
-Rurouni Kenshin (manga preferred)
-Samurai Champloo (anime preferred)

One of my definite favorites is Great Teacher Onizuka. Its hilarious. Quite a change from the usual animes I watch, I like a lot of serious action.
