Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki
but any to become the Master of the Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū u must able to use the Amakakeru Ryu No Hirmaeki and Kenshin did and he defeated Hiko with it and becomin the next Master of the Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu
Re: The better swordsmen

Hiko is stronger. The anime and manga showed this.

Re: The better swordsmen
Well to think about it it's actually a tie between kenshin and hiko in the first battle hiko won and in the second kenshin was the winner so maybe they should have an another fight as tie breaker lol.

Re: The better swordsmen
even so... kenshin is better because he can beat the Nine Heads but he is also the star so if they were to fight for real kenshin would have to win or the manga would end unless the followine Eps. and books are for memorial perpouses only

Re: The better swordsmen
And plus I dont think Hiko uses the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki he uses the Kuzu Ryūsen most of the time so Kenshin has a better chance
Re: The better swordsmen
yeah hiko may use Kuzu Ryusen most of the time but he's kenshin's sensei there is a big possibbility that Hiko may also know how to use Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki.

What do you mean "a big possibility"? Hiko taught Kenshin the move himself.Vixen_blood_in_Ice wrote:yeah hiko may use Kuzu Ryusen most of the time but he's kenshin's sensei there is a big possibbility that Hiko may also know how to use Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki.

Oh comon, its Hiko. Kenshin was never fully trained. Mentally Hiko would whip him.

Re: The better swordsmen
It depends on if they fight before or after Kenshin gains the will to live and finishes his training. The Kenshin who came to Hiko was broken as a swordsman. With his limited knowledge of HMR plus the fact that he had vowed to hold back from killing, he was unable to fight with his true strength, which caused him to revert to the Battousai mindset, which in turn would end up turning him into a killer. Notice a vicious cycle here?
This Kenshin with the broken ki had no chance in hell against Shishio let alone his master. We can see this in it taking all of Kenshin's effort to land a blow which grazed Hiko's wrist guard.
Now after Kenshin gained the will to live and the secret, I believe it's a different story. This Kenshin is complete as a swordsman and can fight without holding back because he knows now that he's strong enough to fight with out killing. Thus there is no more Hitokiri Battousai within.
This Kenshin I believe can probably match Hiko move for move. However, another fact remains and this is the fact that by its very nature, HMR is a kenjutsu meant to be used by giants like Hiko rather than little guys Kenshin. Whereas Hiko's body goes from strength to strength with his prolonged use of HMR (hence the grotesquely muscular physique), Kenshin's ends up breaking down after his mastery of the secret, which forces him to give up HMR after only four years as a full master thereof.
With that factored in, if Hiko and Kenshin were to fight again (say a duel), Kenshin's best chance would be to use his speed (which has to be superior since Hiko's so big) to dodge Hiko's moves and land surprise blows on him whenever he can. Basically, he would have to chip away at Hiko and hope Hiko didn't land a blow on him because I can guarantee you a Ryu So Sen from Hiko is going to have a lot more force behind it than one from Kenshin even if they're identical.
